AIXM 5.0/5.1 Application Schema and Extensions

This page provides the documentation necessary for the creation of an AIXM 5.0/5.1 extension. This enables a community of interest to add suplementary attributes, associations or even complete new new features, which are only relevant for that community. This also supports the definition of specific messages, restricted to a sub-set of the features from the core AIXM and the extension.

The zip file contains the scripts that can be used for the automatic generation of the extension schema from the UML model that contains the definition of the extension. These scripts have been developed for the IBM Rational Rose Data Modeller version with which the AIXM 5.0/5.1 model was created.
