AIXM 5.1.1 - XML Schema (XSD)

The AIXM 5.1.1 schema is available for on-line validation using the following URLs:

• http://www.aixm.aero/schema/5.1.1/AIXM_Features.xsd
• http://www.aixm.aero/schema/5.1.1/message/AIXM_BasicMessage.xsd

Two copies of the AIXM 5.1.1 XML Schema are provided here for download:

• aixm_5_1_1_xsd.zip - contains strictly the XSD files derived from the AIXM 5.1.1 data model (UML). The mapping rules between the UML model (classes and properties) remain the same as for the AIXM 5.1 version. The mapping is detailed in the AIXM Concepts space of the collaboration area.
• aixm_5_1_1_xsd_with_local_copies.zip - includes local copies of the GML 3.2.1, xlink and ISO 19139 schema files. This alternate version of the AIXM 5.1.1 XSD is provided for convenience, courtesy of EUROCONTROL NM/B2B. It's intended use is off-line validation of AIXM 5.1.1 data sets.
