<<feature>> A generic term referring to all types of entities providing all types of aeronautical related services. This primarily includes Air Traffic Management (ATM) Units but also includes entities such as Search and Rescue entities, Meteorological offices, Communications office/centres, etc.

name TextNameType The full textual name of a unit. This name must be established according to the rules specified by International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), and specifically in the official language of the country, transposed into the Latin Alphabet where necessary.  
type CodeUnitType An indicator of the type of Unit, usually related to the standard type of services provided by it. For example: area control centre, advisory centre, aeronautical information services office.  
compliantICAO CodeYesNoType An indicator that the Unit is setup according to the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPS).  
designator CodeOrganisationDesignatorType A distinguishing label, term, abbreviation or acronym used to identify, or associated with, the Unit. For example, the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Location Indicator of an Area Control Centre (ACC), as listed in ICAO DOC 7910.  
military CodeMilitaryOperationsType An indicator of the operational nature of the Unit. For example: civil, military or joint operational nature.
