DataType - CodeProcedureFixRoleBaseType

<< codelist >> AIXM_v.5.1.1.AIXM.AIXM Data Types
<<codelist>> A code indicating the role of a fix within an instrument approach procedure. Examples: initial approach fix, final approach fix, missed approach point, etc.

Inheritance

This is a specialization of the string class and it inherits all attributes and associations of that class.

List of values

Name Data Type Definition
FAF string Final approach fix.
FPAP string Flight Path Alignment Point.
FROP string Final Rollout Point - Where a course change is required within the Final Approach Segment (FAS), the point that the aircraft rolls to a wings-level attitude aligned with the runway centreline extended is considered the FROP. FROP is used in an RNP-SAAAR procedure when a turn is required in the final between the FAF and the threshold.
FTP string The Fictitious Threshold Point (FTP) is a point over which the final approach segment path passes at a relative height specified by the reference datum height (RDH). The FTP replaces the LTP when the final approach course is not aligned with the runway extended centre line or when the threshold is displaced from the actual runway threshold. For non-aligned approaches the FTP lies on the intersection of the perpendicular from the FAS to the runway threshold. The FTP elevation is the same as the actual runway threshold elevation.
IAF string Initial approach fix.
IF string Intermediate fix.
IF_IAF string Intermediate Fix or an Initial Approach Fix
LTP string The Landing Threshold Point (LTP) is a point over which the glide path passes at a relative height specified by the reference datum height (RDH). The LTP is normally located at the intersection of the runway centre line and the threshold.
MAHF string Missed approach holding fix.
MAPT string Missed approach point.
OTHER string Other.
SDF string Step down fix.
TP string Turn Point
VDP string (FAA AIM) Visual descent point. The VDP is a defined point on the final approach course of a non precision straight-in approach procedure from which normal descent from the MDA to the runway touchdown point may be commenced, provided visual reference required by 14 CFR Section 91.175(c)(3) is established.
